Ray E. Featherstone

FEATHERSTONE, MR. RAY E. Ravenna Mr. Ray E. Featherstone, age 75, died Monday, January 19, 2004. He was born in Windom, MN on December 19, 1928 to Guy & Jessie King Featherstone & married the former Thelma Bates on July 1, 1955. Mr. Featherstone served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed as a Mill Wright at S.D.Warren for 33 years until retiring in 1991. He was a member of Fruitport VFW, enjoyed gardening, farming, puzzles & playing cards. SURVIVORS Wife, Thelma; 2 sons, Raymond & Fiance Jeri of Grand Rapids & William Featherstone of Ravenna; 2 daughters, Connie William Jones of Muskegon & Nancy Brian Schmidt of Ravenna; 10 grandchildren; 2 great granddaughters; 2 sisters, Vonna Hayes of NC & Agnes Jaros of Montana; several nieces, nephews & special friends. He was preceded in death by his twin daughters, Debra & Diane, 1 son, John & by a sister, Margie Simmons. SERVICE Saturday, January 24, 2004, 2:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Pastor Ed Cohea officiating. VISITATION Friday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Hospice of Muskegon-Oceana.
