Ralph Allen Jr.

Mr. Ralph Dean Allen, Jr., age 64, passed away at his residence Friday, September 14, 2007 following a long illness. Ralph was born on March 24, 1943 in Manning, Oregon to Ralph and Maning Beuford (Jones) Allen. Ralph moved to Muskegon in 1995 and married the former Vicky Lynn Gauthier on February 20, 2001. Until his retirement in 2006, Ralph operated Allen World Wide Trucking. SURVIVORS: Wife Vicky; Children, Ralph Metcalf Dean Allen, III, Ralph "Matt" (Ryanne) Allen IV, Rev. Joe (Lynn) Byrd, Brian (Anna) Byrd, Pam (Michael) Cunningham, Nichole Morgan and William Heth; Brother, Michael T. Allen and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick and sister, Buffe. The Funeral Service will be held at the Lee Chapel, Wednesday, 11:00 A.M. Friends may meet with the family beginning one hour prior to the service. For a more lasting memorial please consider V.N.S. Hospice. Mr. Allen will be laid to rest in the mausoleum of Evergreen Cemetery.
