Rainbolt, Herbert Earl

Mr. Herbert E. Rainbolt, age 81, passed away October 30, 2006. He was born July 1, 1925 in Wolf Lake, MI to the late Claude and Mildred (Greer) Rainbolt. Herb had served our country in the United States Navy during W.W.II fighting in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. He was an active member of VFW Post 446 who saluted his comrades by serving on the Honor Guard detail. Herb had retired from Teledyne Continental and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Josephine (Dell); two daughters, Kay & Bob Baumgarten of Florida and Janet & Len Shira of Missouri; five grandchildren: Elizabeth, Paul, Brian, Michael, and Amy; one great grandchild, Rudy; and two brothers, Harold of Florida and Bob of Alabama. Funeral Services with full Military Rites for Herb will be Saturday, November 4th at 11:00 a.m. at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave. Visitation will be Friday, November 3rd from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be directed to Alzheimers Association.
