Rafela Nuno

Mrs. Rafela Nuno, age 94, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Mercy Health Partners-Sherman Campus. She was born November 13, 1913 in Brownsville, TX to the late Tony and Rosa (Martinez) Ramirez and married Mr. Ignacio Nuno in April of 1928. He preceded her in death as did their son, Ignacio, Jr. Surviving are her daughters, Isabel Espinoza and Petra (Melvin) Walters; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and 29 great-great grandchildren. She will be remembered by her family as being a loving, kind, and generous person who loved to travel. She will be deeply missed. Mrs. Nuno was a member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 12th at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3086 E.
