Priscilla Schap

Mrs. Priscilla J. Schap, age 89, passed away October 20, 2014 in Grand Rapids MI. Priscilla was born on September 15, 1925 in Fort Atkinson, WI, the daughter of Arthur and Marian (Collins) Oettmeier. She was a 1943 graduate of Fort Atkinson High School and a 1947 graduate of Stout State College in WI (now University of Wisconsin). She married Clyde Schap of Schapville, Il, on December 23, 1949 and taught high school in Spring Lake, Fruitport, and Muskegon Heights, MI. SURVIVORS Surviving her are two daughters, Cynthia (David) Engelking of Lenox, MI and Mary Law of Grand Rapids, MI; two sons, Charles Schap of Cottbus, Germany, and William Schap of Spring Lake, MI: two granddaughters, Lucy and Ivy Law. Also surviving her is one brother, Arthur J. (Arlene) Oettmeier of Bay City, MI and one sister Marjorie Parker of Fort Atkinson, WI, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde and son, Thomas. SERVICE Thursday, November 6, 2014, 11:00 AM and visitation one hour prior to the service at Fruitport Congregational United Church of Christ with Rev. Donald Wood officiating.
