GRAMS, MRS PHYLLIS E. Roosevelt Park Mrs. Phyllis E. Grams, age 82, died Monday, May 17, 2004. She was born in Muskegon, MI on February 5, 1922 to David R. & Ethel Stark Johnson & married Joseph R. Grams on July 24, 1942. Mrs Grams had been a City Clerk/ Treasurer of Roosevelt Park from 1958-1985. She was an active life member of Samuel Lutheran Church & its Martha Circle, President of the LCW, Treasurer of Lutheran Brotherhood & member of the National Accountant's Association. SURVIVORS She will be missed by all, especially by her beloved husband of 62 years, Joseph; 1 son, Rev. Robert Diana Grams of St. Charles, MO; 4 daughters, Carol Gilbert Vanas of Muskegon, Sandra Larry Lager of Richland, MI, Nancy Raymond Johnson of Muskegon & Kathleen Glenn Hall of Otsego, MI; 11 grandchildren, Brian Johnson, Bradley Lauren Johnson, Brent Genevieve Johnson, Matthew Gall Lager, Daniel Carrie McGath Lager, Melissa Joseph Pfenning, Jennifer Hall, David Hall, Joshua Beth Jackson Grams, Courtney Grams & Jeremiah Grams; 12 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Valerie Jerry Bectel of Muskegon; 3 brothers, LeRoy Jeanne Johnson, David Johnson & Ronald Johnson all of Muskegon; 1 sister-in-law, Marcia Grams of Muskegon; 1 Godchild, Vickie Clock; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents & by a brother, Harvey Johnson. SERVICE Thursday, May 20, 2004, 11:00 AM at Samuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Chris Anderson officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery. VISITATION Wednesday, 6-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home & Thursday, 10-11 AM at Samuel Lutheran Church. MEMORIAL: Phyllis was a beloved member of two church families- her lifelong church at Samuel Lutheran and her adopted congregation at Family of Christ Fellowship in St. Charles, MO where her son serves as Pastor.
