Phyllis Curtis

Mrs. Phyllis Jean Curtis, age 89, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on August 18, 1925 to Samuel & Jennie (VanDyke) Morrell and married Glenn F. Curtis on November 23, 1950. Phyllis was a member of River of Life Fellowship in Twin Lake and active in the 1st Baptist Church Ladies Bible Study. She enjoyed walking, biking, flower gardening, bowling in her earlier years and especially spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. SURVIVORS Husband Glenn, son, Gary (Terri) Curtis; five daughters, Connie (Donald) Benedict, Carrie (Porky) Bowen, Donna (David) Messner, Glenna Roe, Cheryl Curtis; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Thebo, Barbara Bonefield; brother, Ted Morrell; special friend, Virginia Bowen; She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Eilene Steele; two brothers, Delora Morrell, Joseph Morrell. SERVICE Tuesday, September 16, 2014, 2:00 pm and visitation 1 hour prior to service at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Pastor John Brown and Rev. Donald Benedict officiating.
