PHILO, MRS. ARLENE MARIAN Grand Haven Mrs. Arlene Marian Philo, age 83, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Christian Care Nursing Center, Muskegon. She was born in Flint, MI on January 29, 1923 to George & Mary Ann (Knudson) Miller & married Lee Melvin Philo on June 17, 1943 in Columbiaville, MI. Mrs. Philo served her country during WWII working in an airplane parts factory & was a clerical worker at Camp Kilmer. She later worked at a newspaper & a loan office in Niles, MI. Mrs. Philo enjoyed flowers, cooking, baking, reading, painting, ceramics, crocheting & sewing. SURVIVOR Daughter, Denise Lee (Jerry) Davis of Muskegon. Mrs. Philo was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lee on October 8, 2000 & by a brother, John Howard Miller. MEMORIAL SERVICE Sunday, April 2, 2006, 2:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Pastor Terry Fulk officiating. MEMORIAL: Christian Care Nursing Center Nurses Education Fund.
