MCCREA, MRS. PHILLIS M. Muskegon Mrs. Phillis M. McCrea, age 86, died Monday, October 17, 2005. She was born in Muskegon, MI on June 10, 1919 to John Henry & Eloise Steiner Dykema & married Robert D. McCrea, Sr. on April 20, 1938. Mrs. McCrea had been employed as a Sales Clerk at Hackley Hospital for 17 years until retiring in 1987. She was a member of First Congregational Church & a volunteer at Muskegon Museum of Art. SURVIVORS 1 son, Doug Linda McCrea of Allendale, MI; 5 grandchildren, Gretchen Biggs, Meaghan Cook, Bronwyn Steffen, Robert D. McCrea III & Patricia D. McCrea; 7 great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law, Eloise Mars of Ludington, MI & Beverly Simmons of Fremont, MI; 1 brother-in-law, Ralph S. Mary Ann McCrea, Jr. of Rhode Island. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in February of 1965, daughter, Eilean McCrea Essenberg in October of 1973 & by a brother, John Henry Dykema, Jr. in 2002.
