Phillip Steele

Phillip George Steele, age 58, passed away at Mercy Hospital on Thursday, September 8, 2016. Phillip was born in Muskegon to Phillip A. and Betty (Welc) Steele on September 28, 1957. George was a graduate of Orchard View Schools, class of 1976 and immediately thereafter served our country in the US Navy. He was a lifelong resident in Muskegon and was the owner and operator of Professional Tree Service for several years. He loved working outdoors and he loved making people laugh and feel at ease. He usually was the life of the party wherever he went. George is survived by his son Kevin Steele, grandchildren William George and Morgan, sisters Ranoda (Randy) Dowdy and Kristi (Basil) Aldridge, brother Bruce (Sherri) Steele, and friend Paula Yonkman. The family will gather for a celebration of life on or near Georges birthday, September 28, 2016.
