Phillip Pittman Sr.

Mr. Phillip "Pop" Pittman, Sr., age 85, passed away Monday, May 14, 2007 at Hackley Hospital. FUNERAL SERVICES will be conducted at 12:00 noon Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at the Greater Harvest Baptist Church, with Rev. Charles Hildreth officiating. BURIAL: Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Mr. Pittman now lies in state in the chapel of Toombs Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Monday, May 21, 2007 with the family present 7:00-8:00pm. He is survived by 4 sons, Phillip, Jr. (wife Carolyn) Pittman & Gregory (wife Kay) Pittman of Muskegon; Roderick Pittman of Phoenix, Arizona; Edward (wife Mary) Pittman of Ellicott City, MD; a special friend, Ms. Fredlene Knoten; 7 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter, a host of other relatives, church family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Arlena, his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
