COX, MR. PHILIP R. Norton Shores, MI Mr. Philip R. Cox, age 80, died Tuesday, January 29, 2002. He was born in Muskegon, MI on January 7, 1922 to Hubert & Eva Muston Cox & married the former Ruth Workman. Mr. Cox had been employed as an Optician at House of Vision & Co-Optical until his retirement. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II & was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. SURVIVORS Wife, Ruth; 2 sons, Daniel Ruth Cox of Highlands Ranch, CO & Stephen Molly Cox of Sunnyvale, CA; 2 daughters, Mary Bill Day of Norton Shores, MI & Susan Fred Carson of Hesperia, MI; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 1 brother, John Mae Cox of Muskegon, MI. He was preceded in death by a brother, Rupert Cox. SERVICE Thursday, January 31, 2002, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Pastor Allen Ingstrom officiating. Interment at Norton Cemetery.
