Peter Phelps

Mr. Peter A. Phelps, age 62, passed away Sunday morning, May 20, 2007, at a local hospital. He was born August 28, 1944 in Muskegon to Jesse and Alice (Miszewski) Phelps and lived in the area his entire life. He worked as a self-employed roofer for several years. SURVIVORS include 5 children, Lana (Scott) Baker, Jesse Phelps, Lianna (Ralph) Workman, Tammy McKay, Kalli Phelps; 10 grandchildren; 4 brothers, Joe (Donna) Phelps, Jerry Phelps, Jim Phelps, John Phelps; 1 sister, Nora (Kevin) Radel. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Janet Vanderstelt. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Avenue (231) 726-5210 with Pastor David A. Selleck officiating. VISITATION with the family will be held one hour prior to the service, 12-1 PM Wednesday. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the family.
