Peter Kjoller

Peter J. Kjoller, age 86, died May 14, 2007 at the Poppen House Residence in Muskegon. He was born in Bojden, Denmark on January 8, 1921 and married Marilyn Lee Meyers on December 22, 1958. Peter settled in the United States after traveling the world many times as a Merchant Marine. He worked aboard the Milwaukee Clipper and later was employed at SPX Corporation, from which he retired in 1986. He was an avid reader and sportsman, and loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. SURVIVORS Along with his wife Marilyn, he is survived by his children Randy Kjoller of Muskegon, Christie (Martin) Fingerle of Rheinfelden, Germany, and Laura (Martin) Ecker of Norton Shores, his grandchildren, Alice and Amelia Ecker, and relatives in Denmark. In accordance with Peter's wishes, no service will be held.
