Pete Vannoordwyk

Pete VanNoordwyk VAN NOORDWYK, MR. PETE Fruitport Township Mr. Pete VanNoordwyk, age 65, passed away January 24, 2006, following a long illness. The youngest of eight children, he was born October 23, 1940 in Norton Township to Henry and Minnie (Lundquist) VanNoordwyk. Pete graduated from Muskegon Heights High School and served in the U.S. Army. He married the former Marie "Pat" B. Roberts in Muskegon on December 23, 1983. He was a member of Sheridan Road Church of Christ and was employed at Brunswick for 27 years until retiring in 1991. SURVIVORS: his wife, Pat; 2 step-sons, Burl A. (Julie) Curtis of Muskegon and Jack S. (Vickie) Curtis of Fruitport; 2 step-daughters, Darleen A. Curtis of Muskegon and Debbie S. Curtis of Norton Shores; 1 sister, Pauline Swiftney of North Muskegon; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Monday 11 A.M. at Sheridan Road Church of Christ, 4521 Sheridan Rd., Robert N. Hodgman, Minister.
