EVANS, MRS. PAULINE RUTH Muskegon Mrs. Pauline Ruth Evans, age 79, died Monday, June 14, 2004. Born December 6, 1924 in Finley, TN to Giles & Martha Doughten Hamm; she married Samuel W. Evans, Sr. on May 30, 1945. He preceded her in death on May 9, 1987. Mrs. Evans had been employed as a crossing guard for Muskegon Public Schools and was a charter member of the East Dyersburg, TN United Methodist Church. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Charles Marlene Evans of Muskegon & Samuel W. Donna Evans, Jr. of Grand Rapids; 1 daughter, Verneda Peters of Grand Rapids; 9 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Giles Mae Hamm of Muskegon; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1grandson, Robert Peters, 5 sisters & 3 brothers. SERVICE Thursday, June 17, 2004, 1:00 PM, at the Clock Chapel, with Rev. Joe Gerkin officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Hospice of Muskegon Oceana County. CLOCK - Muskegon
