Paul J. Tierman

Paul J. Tierman, age 89, of Muskegon, passed away on December 26, 2007. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Carolyn, and three brothers, Bill, Art, and Marv. Surviving are four children, Douglas (Sharon) Tierman, of Fruitport, Ruth (Larry) Dean of Hesperia, Carl (Wanda) Tierman, of San Antonio, TX, and James (Caron) Tierman, of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Louella (Art) Kieft; sisters in law, Jean Vandenberg, and Dorothy Tierman. Paul was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. He retired from E.H. Sheldon, and was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 446. Funeral services will be held at the Ever Rest Funeral Home on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Lawrence Bush officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to VFW Post 446 or the American Lung Association.
