Paul E. Roy, Sr.

Roy Sr., Mr. Paul Emile Muskegon Mr. Paul E. Roy, Sr. age 87, died Friday, February, 20, 2004. He was born in Kingston, Ontario on February 5, 1917 to Georges & Frances Murray Roy & married the former Harriette Sorensen on February 17, 1941. He served his country during WWII in the Army's 107th Cavalry. He retired as the underwriting manager for Foremost Insurance. Mr & Mrs. Roy spent the last 25 years of their 63 year marriage living in Merritt Island, Florida until recent illnesses caused them to move north to be near family. For over 25 years, he devoted countless hours as an instructor for AARP income tax volunteers. He served for over 20 years as an ecumenical minister for Our Savior Catholic Church in Cocoa Beach, Florida. SURVIVORS Wife, Harriette; 3 sons, Paul Jr, Patricia of Muskegon, William Peggy of Peachtree City, GA, & Robert Nica of Mill Valley, CA; daughter-in-law, Sandy Spangler, and husband Robert of Scottville, MI; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
