Paul Leroy "Link" Overla

Paul LeRoy "Link" Overla, age 70, passed away with his family at his side on August 9, 2008. Paul was born in Muskegon on June 10, 1938 to the late Paul and Fannie Overla. He is survived by three children, Tony (Carrie) , Tammy, and Amanda; six grandchildren, Tarah, Austin, Briana, Lea, Kaytlin, and Sierra; a sister, Agnes Wellman; several nieces and nephews, including Jerry (Patty) Rupe and his close friends, Randy Root, Sandy Overla and the mother of his children, Sue Overla. Link was preceded in death by a son, Little Link; two brothers, Ed and Charles Overla; and three sisters, Grace Martin, Pauline McConnell and Eleanor Rupe. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 16th at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel.
