NOVOSELICK, MR. PAUL WILLIAM Muskegon Mr. Paul W. Novoselick, age 50, died Monday, January 31, 2005. He was born in Muskegon, MI on May 29, 1954 to Paul & Julia McLaughlin Novoselick & married the former Cynthia Sides on June 23, 1984. Mr. Novoselick graduated from Muskegon Community College & received his BA in Journalism from Michigan State University. He had been employed as a Columnist & Staff Writer at the Muskegon Chronicle for 16 years until retiring on December 1, 2004 & prior to that he worked at the Bay City Times for 9 years. He was a member of First Congregational Church & founding president of the Disabilities Center for Independent Living. He received the Advocate of the Year award in 1994 from the National MS Society, Michigan Chapter & 1999 Outstanding Citizen Award from the Michigan Rehabilitation Conference. Mr. Novoselick also received several National MS Society Public Education Awards & several writing awards from the Michigan Associated Press. SURVIVORS Wife, Cynthia; 1 daughter, Alissa Novoselick of Muskegon; 1 brother, Robert Jeanine Dailey of Grand Rapids, MI; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. MEMORIAL SERVICE Friday, February 4, 2005, 1:00 PM at First Congregational Church with Rev. Sally Seith officiating.. VISITATION Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
