Paul Peter Francis Jachim

JACHIM, MR. PAUL P. Grand Haven. MI Mr. Paul P. Jachim, age 69, died Saturday, April 27, 2002. He was born in Chicago, IL on October 12, 1932 to Paul & Maryanna Jaruszeska Jachim. He served his country in the Korean Conflict from 1955 to 1957. He had been employed at Oldberg's Manufacturing & Car Quest. Mr. Jachim attended St. Patricks Catholic Church, was a member of the Grand Haven VFW & the Grand Haven Eagles. He enjoyed card playing pool & cards, fishing with his friends, was a big fan of Cubs baseball, the Chicago Bears & the Blackhawks. SURVIVORS 3 sons, Paul Carol Jachim of Arvada, CO, David Jachim of NC & Joe Arlene Jachim of Grand Haven; 2 daughters, Charmaine Kevin Velik of Argentina & Alvina Steve Boeve of Grand Haven; 7 grandchildren, Diana, Paul, Joanna, Jacob, Joshua, Erica & Christie; 3 great grandchildren, Summer, Logan & Autumn; the mother of his children, Gwen & her husband Pete Phipps; special friends, Charlie & Arlene. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Frank & Ed Jachim & by his wife, Estelle in 1982. SERVICE Wednesday, May 1, 2002, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel-Grand Haven with Rev. Ken Gentzler officiating.
