Paul Graff

Mr. Paul Thomas Graff, age 21, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 18, 2007 in Runnemede, New Jersey. He was born July 24, 1986 in Muskegon to Dr. Thomas and Kathleen (Lynch) Graff and had been a resident of the area his entire life. Paul was attending the American Institute of Diving to pursue a career as a commercial diver and underwater welder. Paul graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central High School in 2004 and had attended Muskegon Community College and Aquinas College prior to the diving institute. He was also member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Paul was a "can-do" kid who sought ways to be helpful to family, friends and neighbors. He took charge whenever he needed. We will miss this "prangster" who lived everyday to the fullest in the Spirit of Christ. Paul leaves behind his mother and father, Thomas and Kathleen Graff; his sister, Elizabeth (Edward) Hickman; his 2 brothers, Pfc. Michael and Robert Graff; his grandparents, Marion and Ann Graff, Donald and Maxine Lynch; aunts and uncles, Mark Adkins, Susan (Jack) Faude, Jim and Diane Graff, Theresa Potter, Dennis and Diane Lynch, David Lynch, Martha (Don) Adams, Annette Rankin and Leonard Lynch; many cousins and very close friends. He was preceded in death by 2 aunts, Judith Graham and Lynn Lynch. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, August 23, 2007 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Paul's pastor, Rev. Fr. Robert A. Hart, presiding. ENTOMBMENT will take place privately at the Graff family's property in Newaygo County. VISITATION with Paul's family will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Avenue (231) 726-5210 The Rosary will be prayed at 8:00 PM Wednesday followed by a time of sharing memories of Paul.
