Paul Gomery

Mr. Paul A. Gomery, age 83, passed away Monday, February 26, 2007, following a short illness. He was born June 18, 1923, the youngest of 4 children, in Muskegon to Steven and Elizabeth (Moco) Gomery. Paul married the former Nancy M. Todd at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on April 25, 1980. He was a faithful member of Sacred Heart where he served as an usher. He was a life member of the Muskegon Elks #274, a life member of the Muskegon Eagles and a former member of the Muskegon Moose Lodge. He enjoyed dancing, music, gardening, playing cribbage and was an avid U. of M. Sports fan. Mr. Gomery was employed at Teledyne Continental Motors for 42 years until his retirement in 1985. SURVIVORS: his wife, Nancy; sister-in-law, Eleanor Gomery of Grand Rapids; special friend, Dennis McPherson of Muskegon and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven and sisters, Margaret Albertson and Leona Baranowski. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. VISITATION: Thursday 5- 8 p.m. at the Lee Funeral Home with a SCRIPTURE SERVICE at 7:00 p.m. INTERMENT: St. Mary's Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Sacred Heart Church.
