He was born in Holland, MI on November 5, 1934 to Alexander & Dorothy Bastian Rogers & married the former Carolyn Griep in Holland, MI on January 11, 1963. Mr. Rogers had worked as a HVAC Technician at ACI Incorporated for 20 years until retiring in 1997. He was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church & local #174 Plumbers & Steamfitters Union & enjoyed his granddaughters. SURVIVORS Wife, Carolyn; 1 son, Joel Teresa Rogers of Hudsonville, MI; 1 daughter, Lisa Randy Erdley of Traverse City, MI; 2 granddaughters, Danielle & Kathryn; 3 brothers, David Carol Rogers of Holland, MI, Jerome Diane Rogers of Montague, MI & Donald Viola Rogers of Wyoming, MI; his mother-in-law, Minnie VanWieren of Holland, MI & a sister-in-law, JoAnn Richard Modders of Holland, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents. SERVICE Wednesday, September 5, 2001, 3:00 PM at St. Patricks Catholic Church with Fr. William Langlois officiating.
