Patterson, Eva Irene

Mrs. Eva Irene Patterson, age 81, passed away Monday, November 13, 2006 at Knollview Manor. She was born June 2, 1925 in Manfield, Tennessee to William and Callie (French) Atchison and lived in the Muskegon area since 1952. She was retired from Cole's Bakery where she worked 10 years as a laborer. On March 31, 1941, she married John W. Patterson in Tennessee and he preceded her in death in 1978. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Retha Armstrong and Will Patterson both of Muskegon, and Gary Patterson of New Era; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Rachel Vaughn of Muskegon and Ruth Dean of Tennessee. She was also preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Patterson in 1991, and her sister, Pauline Crossno. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, November 16, 2006 at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Avenue (231) 726-5210 with Pastor Jerry DePoy officiating. INTERMENT will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION with Eva's family will be 5-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
