BETKA, MR. PATRICK L. Norton Shores Mr. Patrick L. Betka, age 47, died Wednesday, August 11, 2004. He was born in Frankfurt, Germany on December 1, 1956 to Donald & Elsa Schimmenpfenneg Betka & married the former Julie Bohland on December 13, 1980 in Muskegon, MI. Mr. Betka had been employed as a Vice President of Manufacturing at Wolverine Power in Muskegon for 20 years. He enjoyed woodworking fishing & hunting. SURVIVORS Wife, Julie; son, David Betka of Norton Shores; daughter, Amanda Betka of Norton Shores; parents, Donald & Elsa Betka of Muskegon; father & mother-in-law, Alan & Cheryl Bohland of Muskegon; 1 sister, Dorothy Batayneh of TN; 1 sister-in-law, Lori Smith of Muskegon; 3 brothers-in-law, Greg Becky Bohland of Grand Rapids, MI, Bill Marie Payne of Roosevelt Park & Carl Kelly Payne of Norton Shores; cousin, Maureen Howard of London, Ontario; several aunts, uncles & other cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. SERVICE Monday, August 16, 2004, 11:00 AM at Lake Harbor United Methodist Church with Pastor Kristin Aardema Faigh officiating. Interment at Norton Cemetery. VISITATION Sunday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home & one hour prior to the service at Lake Harbor United Methodist Church.
