Patricia I. Wierengo

Patricia I. Wierengo, age 74, died Saturday November 29, 2008 in Muskegon. She was born December 1, 1933 in Muskegon to Frederick and Delphine (Newland) Wierengo and resided in the area all of her life. Patricia was an auxiliary member of the VFW #446, and member of the Gold Wing Riders. She enjoyed playing bingo and gardening. SURVIVORS include 6 children, Maxine (Roy) Coomer of Walled Lake, MI, Diana Kieft and Sandy (Mike) Blackmer both of Muskegon, Sally (Rick) Piper of Ravenna, William (Rhonda) Butterfield of Muskegon and Wanda Emanoilidis of Ashburn Ontario, Canada; 14 grandchildren, Carey, Christopher, Stephanie, Danielle, Wayne, Kevin, Joe, Chad, Josh, Bill, Brandi, Brandon, Evan and Justin; 10 great grandchildren; and 4 brothers, Frederick (Mary) Wierengo, Robert (Ardyce) Wierengo, Charles (Irene) Wierengo and Rich (Donna) Wierengo. Mrs. Wierengo was preceded in death by grandson, Brett Piper. SERVICES will be 11 AM Wednesday at The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Rev. John H. Brown officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 10-11 AM. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions to Harbor Hospice, the Activities Fund at Brookhaven Nursing Home, or the Hermelin Brain Tumor Center at Henry Ford Hospital will be appreciated.
