Patricia Anne Sohasky December 17, 1934 - May 17, 2020 Muskegon We are sad and heartbroken to share the news of our mom's passing. Pat Sohasky was 85 years old and lived the last several months in Christian Care Assisted Living under the care of Harbor Hospice in Muskegon. Our mom was a longtime member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. She continued being very social, spunky, and spirited until the last couple weeks when she and the Lord decided it was time for a long rest. Our mom was born in Norwich, New York to Frank and Ruby Wingate. She and our dad were married 57 years before he passed away in 2008. They enjoyed spending time with all of our family and friends, taking their yearly trip to Florida, golfing and socializing with their Manhattan Club friends, and attending as many polka festivals as possible. She retired from JC Penney after working for over 20 years and also loved playing cards and dominos with her friends. Pat leaves behind 6 daughters, Cathy (John) Vanderlaan, Chris (Johnny) Johnson, Connie Sohasky, Cindy (Bill) Wilhelm, Carolyn (Steve) Kutches, Colleen (Shawn) Butler, 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She also will be missed by her brother David (Nancy) Wingate and will surely meet up with her brother Frank, who passed away 4 years ago.
