Patricia Sue Shave

Patricia "Sue" Shave, age 63, left us on May 13, 2026. Born on December 22, 1962 to Clarence Pendergraft and Mary Patterson, in Fresno, CA, she was a bright spirit who touched many lives. Sue married Bruce Shave in January 1979, and they shared a wonderful life together until his passing in 2014.

For over a decade, Sue worked as a school bus driver in Clovis, CA, where she was known for her kindness and patience with the kids. When she wasn't behind the wheel, you could find her scrapbooking, browsing thrift stores for hidden treasures, or catching up with friends on Facebook. She had a heart full of love for her cats and a talent for finding the best deals.

Sue is survived by her daughter Dusty Morales and son-in-law Rene; her grandchild Micah (Alicen) Bergers and her great-grandchild Beau. She also leaves behind three sisters: Melinda Struck, Shirley Bush (Jeremiah), Lori Lawrence and brother Brian (Teresa) Lashley. Preceded in death is her brothers Clarence Ray Pendergraft Jr, Royce Lashley, and sister Stephanie Godwin. Sue will be remembered fondly by her niece Casey (Randall) Steinbach and nephew Justin (Leslie) Lashley, along with other nieces nephews Aunts Uncles and many cousins.

A Celebration of Life for Sue will be held at a later date, and we encourage everyone who knew and loved her to come and share their memories. Stay tuned for details.
