Patricia Ann Ray

Patricia Ann "Patty" Ray, 70, of Muskegon, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on July 19, 2026. Born on November 15, 1955, in Muskegon, Patty was the beloved daughter of Sim Ray and Albirda (Wallace) Ray.

Patty was a woman of faith whose life centered on worship and community. She was a devoted member of Christian Fellowship Outreach and regularly attended the Daybreak day activity program. She found joy in singing, dancing, and music, and she loved her television-especially comedy and game shows, including "Meet the Browns." Patty encouraged those around her to "look for love in everything," a gentle wisdom that shaped her family's lives.

For many years, Patty worked at Goodwill, where she helped with sorting clothes and proudly contributed to her community.

She is survived by her loving siblings: Lola Wiseman, Mary Bruce, Herbert (Keenya) Ray, Michael (Linda) Ray, Sandra (Gregory) Briggs, Thelma (Kenneth) Grissom, Jackie (Curtis) Adams, and Linda Ray; Aunt, Florida Clark; Special Friend Merry Jo Jamison; many nieces, nephews and cousins; Caregivers Parnell & Felicia White and her faithful dog Chance. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Velester Ray.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM, to be held at Kingdom Embassy Covenant Church with Pastor Rule and Pastor Duren officiating; Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Patty's caregivers and church family for their kindness and support.
