Pansy Laura Smith SMITH, PANSY L. Fruitport, MI Mrs. Pansy Laura Smith, age 77, died Thursday January 19, 2006. She was born on June 12, 1928 in Woodbine, KY to James and Laura (Helton) Rapier. Pansy married Harvey Smith on January 18, 1946 and he died on November 12, 1993. She was a member of the Muskegon Apostolic Tabernacle-United Pentecostal Church. Pansy retired as a bus driver from Fruitport Public Schools. Survivors include her children Janice (Ronald) Dill, Juanita Hill, Harvey (Janell) Smith, Linda (Ronald) Kevern, Gregory Smith, Sylvia (Ronald) Parsons and Laura Eschman, all of Muskegon; 19 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; sisters, Moline Carter of Woodbine, KY, and Sylvia Rapier of Rockhold, KY; brother John (Mary) Rapier of Woodbine, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters and two brothers. The Funeral Service will begin at 2 pm Tuesday afternoon at the Muskegon Apostolic Tabernacle Church, with the Reverend Frank Zenobia officiating. Burial will be made in Sullivan Township Cemetery. Visitation hours will be Monday evening 6-9pm at the church, also one hour prior to the service on Monday afternoon.
