Pamela Painter, age 70, of Muskegon, MI, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, surrounded by love. Born on February 1, 1956, to Gary and Joyce (Klein) Bowen, Pam was a cherished daughter and a beloved member of her family and community. A proud graduate of Muskegon High School, Class of 1974, she dedicated over 25 years of her life to working as an Assembly Worker at Structural Concepts until her well-deserved retirement.
Pam's heart was as warm as the spring sun she so loved to garden under. She found joy not only in nurturing her plants but also in nurturing her family. Pam delighted in spending time with her daughters, Erin (Lenni) Mendez and Emily (Zach) Robbins, and cherished moments with her grandsons, Brayden, Lenni, Chase, Leo, and Maverick. Her laughter was infectious, and her love transcended all boundaries.
Pam is also survived by her brothers, Jeff (Susan) Bowen and Greg Bowen, along with former spouses Raymond Scott and Terry Painter, who join in mourning her loss. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and an infant daughter, Ellie Painter, who welcomed Pam with open arms.
A celebration of Pam's life will be held at a later date at the Polish Union Hall in Muskegon. Family and friends will gather to reminisce, share stories, and find comfort in each other's presence, honoring the beautiful life she lived. In the coming weeks, further details will be shared regarding the date and time of the service.
