Pamela Sue Blackey, age 75, of Muskegon died Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at her home after a long illness. She was born March 23, 1948 in Alhambra, CA the daughter of Lloyd and Dorothy (Wolfe) Phillips. When she was a little girl, she moved with her family to Muskegon where she attend Muskegon Schools and graduated from Muskegon High School in 1966. Pam was employed as the manager of the Brunswick Credit Union for 14 years. On August 18, 1984 she married James W. Blackey. Pam had many interests. She and Jim sponsored a child from India through Children's International. Pam also enjoyed fishing on Hamlin Lake, cooking and baking. Pam's greatest joy came from traveling and participating in almost any kind of outdoor activity until a year ago when her health began to decline. In addition to her husband Jim, Pam is survived her son, Korey (Renee) Kemp, 2 grandchildren; Tristan and Hayley Kemp, her sister Priscilla (Larry) Campbell and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Phyllis Zamora, Patricia Holbrook and Peggy LeBel.

A brief prayer service will take place at Clock Funeral Home, 1469 Peck St., Muskegon, MI. on September 13, 2023 at 4:30PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
