Mr. Andrew H. "Andy" Palovich, age 90, passed away at his home January 14, 2007 following a short illness. The youngest of five children, Andy was born on March 13, 1916 in Greenville, PA to Steven and Katherine (Daken) Palovich. As a young man, Mr. Palovich moved to Muskegon and there he met and married the former Wilma K. Simoncik on October 19, 1946. Mr. Palovich was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a life member of the American Legion. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during W.W.II. He was stationed at Pearl Harbor and was a survivor of the attack on December 7, 1941. Mr. Palovich owned and operated Andy's Auto Parts on Getty Street for 25 years until retiring in 1972. He is survived by his wife, Wilma; 2 daughters, Celeste K. (Larry) Benson and Joanne P. (Denny Zimmer) Thomas both of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Julie (Dale) VanDyken and Jamie Thomas. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Randy Thomas in 1995. Visitation with the family will be held at the Lee Funeral Home on Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. with the Scripture Service to begin at 7:30 P.M. INTERMENT: St. Mary's Cemetery. MEMORIALS: Harbor Hospice.
