Mr. Emil Walter Ozgowicz, age 84, died Wednesday, November 29, 2006. He was born on November 5, 1922 in Muskegon, MI to Joseph and Katherine (Hrycej) Ozgowicz. Emil married Violet A. Weber on July 18, 1953 and she died on July 2, 1995. He worked many years at the Handy Button Machine Co. in Melrose, IL and was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church. Emil has lived in Muskegon since 1987 and enjoyed the Senior Citizen Group at Johnson's Hall. Survivors are his sons, Raymond (Marilyn) Ozgowicz of Wheaton, IL, and Steven (Susan) Ozgowicz of Middleburg, FL; four grandchildren, Raymond Jr., Amber, Heather, and Kaily Ozgowicz; great-grandson, Ethan Ozgowicz; sister, Irene Fuchs of Northfield, OH; and many nieces and nephews. Emil was also preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Stanley and John Ozgowicz and sisters, Joan Cegler and Anna Wilson. The Funeral Liturgy will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Michaels Catholic Church. Burial will be made in St. Marys Cemetery. Visitation at the church one hour prior to service on Saturday.
