Ott, Stephanie L.

Stephanie L. Ott, age 88, passed away at a local nursing home February 5, 2007. She was born June 24, 1918 in Muskegon Heights to John and Anna (Lechatz) Charencky. Stephanie graduated from Muskegon Heights High School in 1936. She also attended Vanity Beauty School and was a member of the National Hairdressers Association. She owned and operated Stephanie's Beauty Salon for many years until her retirement. She volunteered for Foster Grandparents for 20 plus years. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra A. (James) Ring of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Kari Ann Harburn and Jay and Alan Ring; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael and a granddaughter, Jamie Lynn Stevens. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Saturday, February 10, at 3:00 P.M. at the Lee Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Stamm presiding. MEMORIALS: Make-A-Wish Foundation.
