Orville U. Johnson, Sr.

JOHNSON, SR., MR. ORVILLE U. Twin Lake Mr. Orville U. Johnson Sr., age 91, went to be with his Lord Thursday, October 21, 2004. He was born in Millerton, Michigan on January 4, 1913 to Thomas & Verna Harrell Johnson & married the former Henrietta Hughes on April 15, 1933 who preceded him in death in 1994. He Married Sylvia Bunch on June 3, 1995. Mr. Johnson started at Sealed Power then was the owner of Aero Manufacturing, Atlas Supply & Harbor Steel until retiring in 1978. He was a member of Central Assembley of God for 78 Years, Treasurer & Deacon for 39 years, Youth Leader & Sunday School Teacher. Mr. Johnson was a faboulous gardner & loved to hunt. SURVIVORS Wife, Sylvia; 1 son, Orville Nancy Johnson, Jr. of Muskegon; 1 daughter, Betty Carl Johnson of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren; Kim Jim Rogers, Steve Ruth Johnson, Jeff Carrie Johnson, Scott Raelyn Johnson & Jill David Dobb; 14 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Marcus Ruth Johnson of Whitehall. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Henrietta; great grandson, Kristoffer Rogers1987, brother, Joseph, sisters Helen Batts & Murl Hughes SERVICE Saturday, October 23, 2004, 1:00 PM at Central Assemble of God Church with Dr. Gordon Aikens Officiating. Interment Laketon Township Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Central Assembly of God Building Fund. Clock - Muskegon
