Orville Cain Jr.

Mr. Orville Cain Jr., age 83, died Monday, April 9, 2007. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on April 20, 1923 to Harry Orville & Ethel (Moench) Cain & married the former Kathryn Eighmy on September 14, 1952. Mr. Cain proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He had been employed as an appliance repair technician at Meinke in Madison, WI. Mr. Cain was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church & Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons in Madison Wisconsin for over 50 years. He was a past member of North Ottawa Rod & Gun Club, a life member of the National Rifle Association & started his own Lakeland Junior Rifle Club in McFarland, Wisconsin. SURVIVORS Wife, Kathryn; 1 daughter, Lynnda (Douglas) DeVries of Grand Haven; 2 grandchildren, Kjersti DeVries attending Grad School at Duke Divinity School in NC & Matthew DeVries is attending the University of Stuttgart in Germany through Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN; 2 brothers, William (Ruth) Cain of OH & Robert (Bert) Cain of Twin Lake, MI; 1 sister-in-law, Roberta (Roy) Schubring of WI; many nieces, nephews & cousins & a great aunt, Katherine Moench of IN. He was preceded in death by his parents. MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, April 14, 2007, 1:00 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. Dieter E. Haupt officiating. VISITATION: Friends may meet with the family after the service at St. John's Lutheran Church.
