Orin H. Holtrop

HOLTROP, MR. ORIN H. Muskegon, MI Mr. Orin H. Holtrop, age 82, died Tuesday, December 11, 2001. He was born in Muskegon, MI on June 9, 1919 to Cornelius & Hilda VanDyke Holtrop. Mr. Holtrop had been employed at Shaw Walker for 18 years & then went to work at Brown-Morse as an assembler for 15 years until retiring. He for many years was a member of Immanuel Christian Reformed Church & was a current member of First Christian Reformed Church. SURVIVORS: 3 sisters, Grace Conrad Portenga & Etta John VanRandwyk, both of Muskegon & Evelyn Gerrit VanRandwyk of MO; sister-in-law, Ethel Holtrop of Muskegon; 2 brothers, Frank Holtrop of Muskegon & Alvin Beatrice Holtrop of AZ; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, James & John & by a sister-in-law, Irene Holtrop. SERVICE: Friday, December 14, 2001, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Robert Bierenga officiating.
