PANICI, MR. ORIE T. Muskegon Mr. Orie T. Panici, age 83, died Saturday, June 23, 2007. He was born in Muskegon, MI on January 26, 1924 to August & Santa Panici and married the former Verna Palmatter on August 14, 1948. He served his Country in the U.S. Army during WWII where he was awarded two gold stars. Mr. Panici had been employed as a plant superintendant at Structural Concepts for 15 years until retiring in 1987. He also owned and operated Campus Market for 26 years. Orie was a longtime member of St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church. He was also a member of Muskegon Elks and Muskegon Vikings. SURVIVORS Son, Jim (Cindy) Panici of Muskegon; 4 daughters, Jane (Rob) Snyder of South Carolina, Lou (Jim) Switzer of Muskegon, Karen (Rich) Davidson of North Muskegon, Sonda (Jeff) Panici Bondy of Muskegon; 9 grandchildren; sister, Mary (Donald) Swanson of Muskegon; 2 brothers, Louis Panici & August Panici, both of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Verna; son, Gary Lee Panici and 2 brothers, Fritz & Michael Panici. SERVICE Tuesday, June 26, 2007, 11:00 AM at St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church with Fr. Julian Reginto officiating. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery. VISITATION Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon.
