Ophelia Fay Martin, age 68, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023. She was born in Muskegon, MI on September 7, 1954 to Benjamin & Jannie (Tabb) Martin and graduated from Muskegon High School in 1972. She worked as amachine operator at Dresser Industries for several years before retiring. Ophelia was raised attending Bethesda Baptist Church and later joined Phidelphia Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing word search puzzels, playing bingo and taking a chance on the Lottery. Ophelia was a great cook and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandson.

SURVIVORS

Daughter Addis (Lamar Williams) Martin; grandson Lamar Williams Jr.; brother Kenneth (Mary) Martin; sister, Barbara Rutledge; sister-in-laws Joyce Martin and Lurlean martin; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Dorothy, Juanita, Ben, Earsie, Ruth Ann, James, Ralph, Beatrice, Retha and Janie.
