Mrs. Olga Jerelos, age 94, died Friday, January 18, 2008. She was born in Muskegon on November 18, 1913 to Perry & Sophia (Mays) Antonopoulos and married Peter Jerelos on October 7, 1935. Mr. & Mrs. Jerelos had owned and operated a number restaurants in downtown Muskegon, including The Coney Island Caf & the Medical Arts Center Cafe. She was a life long member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and also, was an early & active member of the Daughters of Penelope and the Philoptohos women's groups, as well as the women's auxillary of the Ahepa. Olga was generous & loving to her family and friends. There are many grownups today who will always remember her with love in their hearts, because of the kind and gentle way she treated them when they were children. SURVIVORS Sister, Helen Vulgaris of Columbus, OH (formerly of Muskegon); nieces, Matina (Peter) Ross of Columbus, OH, Carole, Barbara, Pam, all of Phoenix, AZ; grandnieces, Laura Wright, Bethany Ross Taylor, Mikaela Szollosi; grandnephews, Chris, John & Anthony Vulgaris; many godchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and by her brother, James Antonopoulos. SERVICE Wednesday, January 23, 2008, 1:00 PM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Catalin Mot officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Wednesday, 1 hour prior to the service at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. MEMORIAL: Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
