Nummerdor, Esther Johanna

Mrs. Esther Johanna (Lee) Nummerdor, age 96, passed away January 29, 2007. She was born November 16, 1910, in Muskegon to Capt. John and Johanna (Nesslin) Mattison. She married Lawrence Lee and he preceded her in death in 1959. She later married L. Bert Nummerdor and he preceded her in death in 1993. Esther was a former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She worked at the Norge/Fetters as a bookkeeper until retiring. She is cherished, loved and dearly missed by: 2 sons, Lawrence "Jack" (Joyce) Lee of Georgetown, TX and Terrance (Judy) Lee of Spring Lake; 2 daughters, Marilyn Kelling of Youngstown, Florida and Betty Jo (Wendell) Anderson of Whitehall; sister-in-law, Elsie Mattison; 1 step-son, Dan (Joanne) Nummerdor of Fruitport; 2 step-daughters, Suzanne Nummerdor of Grand Haven and Margaret "Marge" (Steve) Alex of Muskegon Heights; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, William Mattison and Arthur Mattison; 4 sisters, Evelyn Johnson, Edna Anderson, Ellen Goodhue and Marion Dalson; and a step-son, Jeffrey Nummerdor. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2007, at 11 A.M. at the Lee Funeral Home. Memorial contributions to Harbor Hospice would be appreciated.
