Norman Jacobson

Mr. Norman Maurice Jacobson, age 93, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on May 11, 1922 to Jacob "Joe" & Helen (Rohde) Jacobson and married the former Doris Berntsen on February 21, 1947. Mr. Jacobson had been employed as an Engineer for Sealed Power for 41 years until retiring in 1986. Norman was a member of Calvin Christian Reformed Church, Vikings, & Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling and wood carving. SURVIVORS Wife, Doris Jacobson; son, Mark Jacobson of Muskegon; daughter, Kathy Jacobson of Whitehall; special family friend Mary Ruth Morningstar; brother, Gerald Jacobson; sisters-in-law, Marva Jacobson, Margaret Rood; brother-in-law, Arnold (June) Berntsen, many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Wallace; brothers-in-law, Carlton Rood, Robert Berntsen. SERVICE Honoring his wishes, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
