Norman Edward Durham, age 90 of Norton Shores died Saturday September 2, 2023 at Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born September 2, 1933 in Muskegon the son of James W. and Minnie I. (Eely) Durham. Norman graduated from Muskegon Heights High School and then attended Muskegon Community College for three years. Later, he took classes at Western Michigan University and Grand Valley State University. On June 15, 1956 Norman was united in marriage to Beverly Jean Brooks. She passed away December 8, 2014. Norman worked for 28 years at Westran as an industrial engineer and safety director. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed doing yard work, reading, bicycling, and playing cribbage. He was also a member of Forest Park Covenant Church.

SURVIVORS:

Norman is survived by his sons; Scott (Deborah) Durham and Greg (Shelli) Durham, six grandchildren; Nathan, Cameron, Kristin and her husband Trent, Lucas, Brandon and Dakota, several great-grandchildren, and brother, Dick (Ruthie) Durham. In addition to his wife, Norman was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters.

EVENTS:

A memorial service will be held Friday September 8, 2023 at the Clock Funeral Home, 1469 Peck St., Muskegon, MI at 11:00AM.
