Norma Jeanne Knuppenburg

Knuppenburg, Mrs. Norma Jeanne Fruitport, Michigan Norma Jeanne Knuppenburg, age 83, was called to heaven on Monday, February 28, 2022. She was born in Muskegon, MI on December 30, 1938 to Harold & Verna (Hunter) Slate and married Martin Knuppenburg on July 22, 1958. Mrs. Knuppenburg was a wonderful mother and grandmother who had been a Brownie Leader and also a Day Care Provider. She was a former member of Bethel Baptist Church in Fruitport and presently a member at First Congregational Church of Fruitport. She was self taught and loved to play the piano, organ and accordion. SURVIVORS Daughters, Cathy (Fred) Cherrette, Charlotte (Matthew) Bouwhuis; Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alicia, Cody, Trevor, Allie, Raquel, Renee, Eric, Parker, Alexia; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Slate, sister-in-law, Doreen Slate; Brother-in-law, Doyle Whittum; dear friend, Judy Carpenter She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter Theresa Carranza. SERVICE Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 2:00pm at First Congregational Church of Fruitport with Pastor Mike Scott officiating. Interment in Pine Hill Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, March 4, 2022 from 6-8 pm at First Congregational Church of Fruitport and one hour prior to the service at church. MEMORIAL: Lake Ann Camp and Retreat Center.
