She was born in Muskegon, MI on August 25, 1934 to Russel & Sadie Locke Thompson & married Ronald Burmeister on March 5, 1955 in Lansing, MI. Mrs. Burmeister received her Bachelors Degree from Michigan State University & had been employed as a Teacher at Muskegon Public Schools. She was also a homemaker, avid runner, enjoyed bicycling & the waterfront. SURVIVORS Husband, Ronald; 1 son, Steve Patty Burmeister of Norton Shores, MI; 2 daughters, Kelly Jeffery Camburn of Columbus, OH & Jean Burmeister of Norton Shores, MI; 5 grandchildren, Jacob, Ryan, Christi, Samantha & Nicole; 1 brother, Thomas Thompson of Whitehall, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents & by a sister, Diane Cilla. SERVICE Thursday, July 3, 2003, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Mark Zimmerman officiating.
