Mrs. Norma "Ann" A. Black, age 99, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015. She was born in Williamston, Michigan on February 13, 1916 to William & Alma (McGowan) Goetz and married Gifford Black on August 23, 1947. Mrs. Black had been employed as a laborer for Sealed Power and then as a veterinary assistant for Dr. Dykema & Dr. Clark. Norma was a long time member of Central United Methodist Church and life member of Eastern Star. She loved dogs and going to Florida and enjoyed cooking and baking. But foremost was always her family. SURVIVORS Sons, Gifford "Jim" Jr. (Barbara) Black of Whitehall, Edward (Shari Martz) Black of Muskegon; daughter, Patricia Nummedor of Fruitport; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gifford; daughter-in-law, Theresa; son-in-law, Jack; and great grandchild, Aaron. SERVICE Thursday, March 12, 2015, 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. John Brown officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Alzheimer's Association.
