Nora Jean Harris, 70, of Muskegon, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024.

Nora was born March 19, 1954, the daughter of John and Claudine Madison. She married Eddie Harris Sr. on May 24, 1973, and together they were blessed with 47 years of marriage until his death in 2020. Nora attended Spring Street Baptist Church. She was a yellow belt in Karate and enjoyed wrestling, scary movies and her candy. Nora was a caring, loving, quiet, laid back woman who will be deeply missed.

Her children, Stephanie Madison, Sharonda (Jamel) Madison-Mahqueed, Dwayne Harris, Jenae (Percy) Harris-Agnew, and Rosie Banks; grandchildren, Larry, Tamara, TaQueisha, Ta'Quonna, David (Karly), Breanne, Julius, Ja'Niya, Johnathan, Devon, and Yvonne; several great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny (Laverne) Madison; sisters, Mary (Mike) Thompson, Chyral Madison, and Doris Hines.

Husband, Eddie Harris Sr.; son, Eddie Harris Jr.; grandchild, Deja Madison; parents, John and Claudine Madison; and sisters, Rose Madison, and Claudia Sanders.

SERVICES

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home 1469 Peck Street Muskegon. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
