Mr. Gordon Dale Neuman, age 70, beloved husband, father, and grandfather; mentor to many and helpful to all, died Thanksgiving day, Thursday, November 23, 2006. He was born in Allendale, Michigan on June 29, 1936 to William and Grace (Kramer) Neuman and married Suzanne Neely on July 11, 1959 in Allendale. Mr. Neuman was the owner of Pavilion Wharf Deli and Grille in Grand Haven and prior to that he owned Coops Party Store. In the past he had worked at Braun's Mobile Homes, National Bank of Detroit and Foremost Insurance Company. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, where he served as Head Elder and Bible Class Teacher. Foremost in Gordon's life was his family and the time spent with creating many lasting memories. SURVIVORS Wife, Suzanne; 3 daughters, Brenda (Harold) Hoisington of Fruitport, Melissa (Scott) Muskovin of Fruitport & Jennifer (Vondon) Williamson of White House, TN; 5 grandchildren, Zachary Scott Muskovin, Jordan Dale Muskovin, Grace Elizabeth Hoisington, Olivia Shae Williamson & Benjamin Mark Williamson; 2 sisters, Nora (Donald) Mahoney of Grand Rapids & Ann Turner of CA; several nieces, nephews & cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Mark Neuman, 4 sisters & 2 brothers. MEMORIAL SERVICE Monday, November 27, 2006, 1:00 PM at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 4475 Henry Street, Norton Shores with Pastor Mark Zimmerman officiating.
